Bun in the Oven

What!? Sarah has something in the oven!


That is right! Sarah is pregnant. We are expecting our first child in September. Mom and "Potsticker" (that is what we are calling "it" in order to avoid calling it "it") are doing well so far. 14 weeks into this pregnancy and we are already beginning to make major changes to our lives, which we will post on this blog!

12 Week Appointment

Sarah and I had our 12 week check-up and we heard the heart beat for the first time! It was an amazing moment for both of us! One that I will never forget. It was easy to be in denial about having a baby until the doctor sticks a sloppy wet plastic device all over your wife's abdomen and you hear a squishy heartbeat. SO COOL!

So we celebrated by buying a Dairy Queen cake. Don't worry...we didn't eat it all in one night!
