Photoshoot!

Sarah and I had a fun adventure today! We cranked our heat up to 78 (unheard of for us) and decided to take pictures of Mags! One might call it baby torture, but no babies were injured during our photoshoot! However, Anne Geddes never talks about the number of times a baby poops as soon as you take their diaper off! Seriously! But they turned out beautiful! Out little princess!

And the winners are...

We had two big pots going for the ninth of Maggie. Well one involved actual money and the other involved Bragging rights.

For those that Attended the Dundas shower, the results of the raffle are in... Phil West is the winner. He guessed September 12th at 10:00 AM. He was within an hour of the birth of Maggie. He has opted to put his winnings back into Maggie's savings account! Whoop whoop!

Sarah's family also had a pot going. And the winner is...
Kayla! She guessed September 12th and girl! Sarah os still trying to determine the prize for this one!

We had a visit from some Maggie's step-aunt and uncle. Here is Maggie with her auntie Sarah...

And her uncle Ben...

A little paparazzi moment....

I think it is pretty cool, but Ben and Sarah are both retry young to bey aunts and uncles.

Cute family photo with my mom and Dan...

What!? My mom's face in a photo!

A special visit!

I have been looking forward to Maggie meeting some kids! There is something so cool about seeing a baby being held by a little kid. So when Trent and Angie (my Aunt and Uncle) said they were bringing over their kids Trace and Kylie to see Mags, I got super excited. I remember holding both of them when they were just born.

They were both awesome with Maggie! Kylie just kept staring and Maggie and talking about how little her body parts were..."You have little eyes. You have little ears. You have little muscles." And then there was a classic line..."you head is so heavy!"

Trace was just a sweetheart with Mags too! I can tell he is going to be a good man in Maggie's life!

And here he is multitasking just like Travis!

Great Uncle Trent! I cannot figure out where the picture of Great Auntie Angie went! Angie...if you read this and you have a picture with Mags, please send it my way!

Kylie and Travis being silly!

Photos...can you tell Daddy is in love!

I might be a bit smitten with Miss Maggie! I am enjoying getting the opportunity to take a million pictures of her. And I am enjoying editing the photos!

Everyone keeps asking for a good picture of her beautiful hair. This hardly does it justice, but you can kind of see the natural highlights!

Here is momma doing a supplemental feeding. We are breastfeeding, but sometimes need to give a little more food in the form of formula. The hospital taught us to use our fingers to imitate the breast nipple so as not to create any nipple confusion with a bottle until week 3.

Chelsea came to bond with baby and help with things while daddy was at a speech conference on Friday. It was great to have the extra help and I think Chelsea enjoyed her bonding time with Mags. We have had the best support from folks offering to do things for Sarah and I...we appreciate it immensely!

Looks at Maggie in her adorable butterfly outfit from two of daddy's speech coaches Lori Constable and Elizabeth Graydon.

This is Maggie with her Great Grandma and Grandpa Rother.

They are so in love too!

Grandpa loves talking about Maggie to his friends up north, where they live.

Maggie with Grandpa Rother. There is a rumor going around that even Grandpa Don is so in love with Mags that he wants to go shopping for her! That is unheard of!

Great Grandma and Grandpa just celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary and now they have their first great grandchild!

4 generations of the Rother name!

And 4 generations of the Rother women! The true brains behind this operation!
