The Alberta Shower!

One of the things I am looking forward to as a mom is introducing Potsticker to my childhood. There is nothing like the family feeling of growing up in a small town. This was very obvious to me on Thursday. Two of my dearest friends, Marisa and Suzi, hosted a baby shower for us. We have the type of relationship where we can always pick up where we left off as if no time had gone by. The shower was intimate, sweet, and charming. Just what I would expect from my friends and a home town shower. Marisa and Suzi have an amazing eye for detail. Everything was very creative and personal!


The Alberta Community Center has never looked better.



The farm animal cupcakes and the red velvet barn cake were adorable. Travis and I are surrounding Potsticker with the farm theme, just one way we are keeping him/her connected to my roots.




The baby carriage fruit basket was a hit with everyone!


Suzi created this cake! I wish I had her creativity!



Travis and I had a candy buffet two years ago at our wedding. That idea was recreated for our shower. My favorite-peanut butter cups! Travis's favorite-pretzel m&ms! Potsticker's soon to be favorite-Cheerios. Super cute idea!



Friends since elementary school. Only people who know me so well could have thrown such a perfect shower! Thanks ladies!
