It has been a while since I posted, but it has been pretty uneventful these last couple of weeks. I would say we are sort of in a holding pattern now, anxiously waiting for the baby to arrive.
As a last minute recommendation by the instructors at one of our baby classes, Sarah and I decided to check out getting a Doula for birth. We went to a meeting tonight that was put on by the Childbirth Collective to learn more. We found it incredibly informative and now we are ready to start looking for a Doula that works for us. We feel like we are on a shortened time frame on this one, because we learned about Doulas too late, but we will make it work.
Basically, a Doula will be an advocate for us during the birthing process, and help Sarah have the birth that she wants. It will also help ME be a better coach during labor. We are excited about this new avenue of support.
On Thursday, Sarah and I are going to a class called All About Babies! Fun times!
