Putting Together the Nursery

Things are finally starting to look like a baby could live in our house now. There are little traces of Posticker around...like a cupboard full of bottles or a car seat in our cars. But nowhere is it more obvious than in the nursery. We got a crib from my grandma and grandpa Hochsprung and my mom and Dan and I didn't waste any time putting it together. Everyone said that it would be frustrating and time consuming, but with my beautiful wife's help...we got it done in less than an hour...with no tears!

The before picture!

Gotta love anything that you get to use an Allen Wrench to put together!

It is coming along!

And the final product...complete with the mobile and crib bumpers (one of our first purchases after we found out we were pregnant!!

On the back of the crib, you can see the adorable felt blanket that my aunt Sue made for us! The crib was the last item that I was anxious and worried that we wouldn't get it in time. Now that it is put together and in place, I feel like Potsticker could come anytime and we would be ready for him or her! Now, what to do with all of the cardboard!!
